Shooting Stars are back in the hunt for league honours after observing the Christmas break.

The team resumed training at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba on Monday, with Chief Coach Franklin Howard directing affairs.

According to 3SC’s Media Chief Jubril Arowolo, 3SC are stepping up preparations for Saturday’s top clash at home against second-placed Delta Force FC of Asaba. Only two points separate both sides as the four-horse race for promotion intensifies.

Delta Force, who are two points behind log leaders Dolphins, have so far amassed a total of 19 points from nine matches as against Shooting Stars who are in third place with 17 points from the same number of games.
