Ranch Bees steal point in Ibadan Posted on Tuesday, Jan 26th 2010
Shooting Stars drew their fourth home match of the season after being held to a goalless draw by Ranch Bees of Kaduna in a Week 15 Glo Premier League match decided at the Liberty Stadium, Ibadan last Saturday.
The uninspiring result follows last week’s 2-0 defeat away to Gombe United, a result that plunged the Oluyole Warriors further down the premiership ladder.
Saturday’s well-attended game saw Shooting Stars making several attempts at breaking the deadlock, but the strikers either frittered chances or found the solid rear of Ranch Bees impregnable.
It was another disappointing day for agitated 3SC supporters who had eagerly looked forward to another three points haul following the recent home victories against Zamfara United and Heartland FC.
With the Glo League campaign hitting the half way mark after last weekend’s fixtures, 3SC remain in the bottom four of the 20-team log with 17 points from 15 matches, scoring eight goals and conceding 11.
