Pillars star warns 3SC

As premiership leaders Kano Pillars storm Ibadan for this weekend’s crucial Week 21 fixture against the vastly-improved Shooting Stars at the Liberty Stadium, Pillars’ left wing back John Yampe Boyi has warned the hosts to beware.
Pillars, who disgraced Ocean Boys to move to the top of the log last Saturday, must earn a good result against 3SC to stand any chance of remaining at the top for another week, and Boyi believes this is achievable.
“Playing Shooting Stars away is not going to be easy, but we have improved over the past few weeks and getting a good result in Ibadan is not beyond us,” Boyi said confidently.
“The pressure will be on 3SC to perform in front of their home fans, and as for us we’ll just take it easy, play our game and get the result we want,” he stated.
Brimming with confidence, the former JUTH FC of Jos star added that his team has shown character as potential champions, and will leave nothing to chance in their quest to win the title again.
“We have been doing well and we want to emerge league winners again. We have shown that we have all it takes to win it, and we’ll continue to push for it because we are one of the best teams in Nigeria,” he emphasized.
