The Oyo State House of Assembly on Tuesday poured encomiums on Shooting Stars for their brilliant performances this season particularly their recent promotion to the Nigeria Premier League.

As a result of 3SC’s wonderful achievement, the house announced some incentives for the team in recognition of their return to the premiership.

Part of these included the provision of cars for the team’s Technical Director Mutiu Adepoju as well as the Chief Coach Franklin Howard. The team will also be provided with a luxurious bus to ease their transportation problems.

3SC’s Media Officer Jubril Arowolo reports that the House has moved a motion that there no board should be instituted to run the affairs of the team, rather, it was recommended that the present structure be maintained for continuity.

By implication, Mutiu Adepoju remains as 3SC’s General Manager and Technical Director for the 2009-2010 Nigeria Premier League season.

The introduction of an insurance policy was also recommended for the players and officials of the team.
