Oluwaniyi seeks revenge against Sunshine Posted on Tuesday, Mar 16th 2010 Oluwaniyi was in goal when Sunshine ran away with a 1-0 win over 3SC in the first round, and the towering shot stopper has declared that it’s pay back time for the Akure-based team. “Sunshine had their own moment in Akure, but now it’s our turn to shine (against them). Without any doubt, Sunshine is a great side and they have some very good players, so I foresee a tough game. “However, we are in high spirits now and having resolved to start winning our subsequent home games, Sunshine will not escape punishment in Ibadan,” Oluwaniyi declared. However, the former Enugu Rangers goalkeeper, who is currently in the home-based Eagles camp preparing for the return leg of the CHAN encounter against Niger Republic is unsure if players will be released to honour league fixtures with their clubs. In other Week 24 matches slated for the weekend, Gombe United host embattled Gateway FC while bottom of the table Sharks slug it out with Dolphins in a Port Harcourt derby slated for the Liberation Stadium. In Yenagoa it’s Ocean Boys up against visiting Kaduna United; ambitious Kwara United are at home to Wikki Tourists while at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu, Rangers International are poised for victory over visiting Lobi Stars.
