Babalade promises new-look 3SC Posted on Monday,Nov. 9th 2009
Erstwhile Super Eagles defender Ajibade Babalade has promised Shooting Stars fans of a renewed and gutsy pursuit of honours when the Glo Premier League resumes in a few weeks’ time.
The 3SC Team Manager disclosed to shootingstarssc.com that the team’s coaches have been working on the major lapses they discovered during the first five matches of the season with a view to correcting them and to improve on general team performance.
“The problem we are having is that players of nowadays don’t learn fast enough. When you tell them something they do the opposite.
“But we are really working on that. We also noticed some lapses in the defence and midfield. We are seriously working on these areas, and it is my hope that very soon the results will start showing.”
Shooting Stars resumed training last week after a short break, and will play host to Kaduna United in a Glo Premier League fixture at the Liberty Stadium on November 18.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Segun Oluwaniyi has since been cleared from Dolphins on a permanent deal, and he’s now a bona-fide Shooting Stars player. He teamed up with 3SC last season under a loan arrangement.
