Algerian agent backs 3SC for glory Posted on Tuesday, Feb.24th 2009
An international scout with JS kabylie of Algeria, Oumarou Bouba has expressed his desire to see Shooting Stars International Sports Club regaining its pride of place on the continent.
Bouba, who was highly impressed by 3SC's display so far in the National First Division, particularly the encounter with Dolphins in Port Harcourt, said: "I enjoyed that game and savoured the moment of seeing Shooting Stars again in recent times.
It is a moment I have always longed for," he disclosed. "The club is one of the best in Africa, and I pray that they return on time."
Bouba further disclosed his mission in Nigeria, which he termed 'an eye-opener.'
"I have to visit the family of a Nigerian player we got from Sharks FC and with what I have seen in the last few days, you have potentials in Nigeria."
Bouba, who spoke French-influenced English language, expressed the possibility of raiding the 3SC camp for players in the not too distant future.
“I fell in love with some of your players and will like to give some of them trials overseas, but the period is short for me, so I will have to come back for that purpose," he concluded.
