Alausa missing as 3SC present new players  Posted on Thursday, Sep. 10th 2009

Plans by Shooting Stars to sign former league hot-shot Kabiru Alausa has hit the rocks, shootingstars.com can report.

General Manager and Technical Director of the team, Mutiu Adepoju disclosed to shootingstarssc.com on Thursday that the Heartland of Owerri player has gone missing.

“As I speak with you now, Alausa is nowhere to be found. This is a very unprofessional behaviour, and by his action he has not indicated if he truly wants to play for us,” he said.

Speculations had been rife that the former Julius Berger player was 3SC’s number one transfer target and actually looked set to sign up for the former African champions after starring in a couple of friendly matches.

Meanwhile, Adepoju has told shootingstarssc.com that four players have been short-listed and will append their signatures for Shooting Stars this week.

The players are Sylvester Ebiakwu, a right wing back from Nasarawa United, Sunshine Stars’ left winger Nofiu Taiwo, one time 3SC centre back Yomi Adigun and Shuaib Mohammed, a central defender formerly of Niger Tornadoes  and Kwara United
