Mutiu Adepoju says Shooting Stars are battle ready for the Globacom Premier League this season.
According to the General Manager of the team, the management has almost rounded up preparations, but one issue that needs to be resolved urgently is the clearance of new players.

“After weeks of screening and negotiations I am satisfied with what we have acquired. In terms of quality I think we have what it takes to compete in the Premier League,” he told www.shootingstarssc.com.

“But we need to secure the clearance of our new intakes before the close of registration.”
Some of the players believed to have signed up for the Oluyole Warriors are Nofiu Taiwo, Yomi Adigun, Sylvanus Ebiakwu, Laide Okanlawon and Shuaib Mohammed.

Adepoju disclosed that another friendly game has been arranged for this weekend against Sharks of Port Harcourt in Ibadan. But this is still subject to confirmation from the 3SC management.
