The National First Division League’s top scorer for last season, Timothy Idogbe says he’s setting a big target for himself to excel at the top level this season.

He told shootingstarssc.com that the time has come for him to prove his mettle as a player to be reckoned with.

“It’s not just a boast, it’s what I believe I can do.

“Last season I scored 15 goals, but I can go even higher than that. Right now we are building a new team, we have a new quality Chief Coach, and the spirit in camp is high.

“Surely, these are signs that collectively and individually we are going to do well in the Premiership this season. On my part I have vowed to keep banging in the goals as my own quota to uplifting this great team,” the former Union Bank of Lagos forward ttold shootingstarssc.com

Idogbe finished last season with 15 goals – 10 in the league and five in the Federation Cup.
