FA Cup: 3SC battle Wunti in Minna                     Posted Monday, June 8th 2009

After marking their return to the Premier League in style, Shooting Stars continue their quest for national honours when they take a trip to Minna for an FA Cup tie against Wunti FC of Bauchi on Wednesday.

The Round of 64 tie is slated for the Bako Konyagora Stadium in Minna.

3SC qualified for the national preliminaries of the FA Challenge Cup, which has been renamed ‘Federation Cup,’ after beating Afijio United to emerge champions of Oyo State.

The Draw Ceremony for the competition was held at the FIFA Technical Center, Abuja last week Thursday.
Seventy four (74) different Clubs (two from each of the 36 States of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory) will battle it out to determine who wins Nigeria’s oldest football competition.
