New-look 3SC storm Ijebu Ode for Ebedei

After a two-week break, a rejuvenated Shooting Stars Sports Club continue their quest for promotion on Sunday when they take a trip to Ijebu-ode for a National 1st Division Group B match against FC Ebedei.
The corresponding 2nd round, Week 16 encounter is slated for the Ijebu-Ode International Stadium beginning from 4pm..
Having bolstered the team’s playing arsenal with eight new signings, the team’s management is optimistic that Shooting Stars now have all it takes to intensify the battle for promotion.
3SC’s Chief Coach Franklin Howard told www.shootingstarssc.com said it was time the team took the bull by the horn and forge ahead.
“We have realized that we need to fortify certain grey areas so the management took it upon itself to sign some fresh legs for the second half of the season, which is very crucial to our aspirations.
“It is our fervent hope that this will serve to give us the promotion ticket at the end of the day as we believe it is in the best interest of the team. We can only ask our supporters to continue praying for us as we aspire to regain our rightful position in Nigerian football,” he said.
Meanwhile, Shooting Stars’ Media Officer Jubril Arowolo has disclosed that the team’s management will make available 20 buses to convey 3SC’s teeming supporters to and from the venue of the match on Sunday.
According to him, take off time is 11am at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba on Sunday.
