3SC’ll not be relegated –Oyo Sports boss Posted on Tuesday, Feb 23rd 2010
Oyo State Commissioner of Youths and Sports, Honourable Ayoola Makanjuola has expressed confidence that Shooting Stars of Ibadan would retain their Premier League status at the end of the current season.
While speaking in the aftermath of 3SC’s sensational away win against Gateway last weekend, the Oke-Ogun born politician said, "I have started making moves to ensure that 3SC stays out of relegation trouble. Two weeks ago I invited all the stakeholders in the state including the Technical Adviser of Crown FC Niyi Akande, the FA chairman and secretary. I also invited Felix Owolabi, coach Jossy Lad as well as the press for a chat on the way forward.
“I will not abandon 3SC and Crown because they are my babies, and we need to give them the best in terms of welfare. We will keep on fighting and concentrate more about staying out of the relegation zone," he reiterated.
