Shooting Stars have acquired two strikers to boost their arsenal ahead of the remaining matches of the Glo Premier League.

The players are David Abidoye from Lobi Stars and Uchenna Nwofor of Anambra Pillars.

3SC’s General Manager Mutiu Adepoju disclosed to Globacom League Splash that the two players are expected to add more bite and firepower to the team’s attack, which has only been able to score five goals in 10 league appearances so far.

“We have so far signed David Abidoye and Uchenna Nwofor to add some quality to our forward-line. Hopefully they will deliver the goods because scoring goals has been one of our biggest problems,” he said.

Abidoye was a former Shooting Stars player, while Nwofor is one of the new discoveries in the National first division.
Adepoju hinted that two other new players may be signed on before the close of registration on Friday.

He confirmed that the club has not placed any player on transfer for now.
